Warren County Released Booking Photos
A booking photograph records appearance during an arrest or intake event. It does not show guilt, a court result, present custody, or the reason a person later left jail. North Carolina Chapter 132 defines public records broadly enough to include photographs and electronic material made or received in public business. Access still depends on the record and custodian. Criminal-investigation, intelligence, juvenile, medical, prison central-file, sealed, confidential, or expunged material may be restricted. Third-party and data-collection services can preserve stale images, attach a photo to the wrong person, or fail to reflect later legal action. No such service is linked or recommended. The NCDAC Offender Public Information search covers state-prison and community-supervision records, including historical data back to 1972. It does not contain county-jail-only records. Search by seven-digit offender number when possible, or use name and optional identity filters. Compare the offender number, date of birth, conviction county, sentence, locations, and statuses before associating a state image with a person. A shared name is not enough.
Eligible full records can render an offender image along with inmate status, supervision status, movements, convictions, sentence data, and projected or actual release fields. The photo is an NCDAC image. It may come from state intake after a transfer from the Warren County Detention Center, so it should not be called the earlier Warren jail booking photo. Likewise, a new prison location means continued incarceration after transfer, not community release.
